So I passed ROFR, now what?

Well we passed ROFR on 2/29 and they told us the next step would be in 1-2 weeks. Tomorrow will be 14 days and we've heard nothing! What could be the hold up or am I just being impatient?

After you pass ROFR, you should receive your closing documents. If you have not received them, they should be arriving soon, but I would follow up with the broker and/or title company to see when they are coming since you have hit the two week mark.

Once you and the seller get those, you will both sign and return and then after everything is received, they will close the contract, send things off to Disney and in 7 - 10 days from that you should be in the system.

Just be aware, that sellers need to get paperwork notarized, so it can take them a little longer to return paperwork.

When do you send the money? Before this process or after?

You send your money with your closing documents. Have you called you r broker? We passed ROFR 3/7 and received an email today, 6 days later, that closing docs should arrive via email in 3-4 days...After you pass ROFR the broker has to wait for the estoppels from Disney - essentially proving that the seller has the # of points they are claiming to sell, etc - and then it is off to the closing company. I would call.

Its been excatly 2 weeks today that we passed ROFR and Ive email Rachel at fidelity for the last 2 days with no response! This is starting to suck!!
