that I was on the freakin dis boards...all night long I kept waking up, trying to get the images out of my head!!! It was like the work dreams... does this happen to anyone else? When I waited tables, I had dreams (nightmares) about having every table in the restaraunt and I couldn't get to a single one... nothing better to start your work day than a restless night dreaming of work, especially when you just had a late night there! Am I the only one? :guilty:

Nobody, huh? I just seem to slip through the cracks... Woe is me... :sad2:

No disboards dreams, yet. My recurring dream (one I had two nights ago) is that I'm late for a college exam that I didn't study for. The strange thing is, I graduated way back when Aerosmith was still doing drugs. :smooth:

I used to wait tables, and had those exact same dreams. Hate to say it, but I'll still get them once in a while, haven't waited tables in 13 years.

Several years ago I spent a vacation with my cousin, who had been on a Yahtzee kick and we did nothing else for at least 5 days. For weeks afterward, I kept dreaming of the dice tumbling out of the cup and actually feeling tense about getting the desired combination. I think I've played Yahtzee once since then, lol.

Ok, you got me. I dream I'm working all night long an average of 4 nights a week, every week. Always worried I've screwed something up. That I've made a MAJOR mistake that needs fixing. I wake up totally exhausted in the morning. The irony is that I quit that job 14 years ago because of the stress!! :guilty:

Sheesh, I feel for ya... It's not really amusing when it happens all the time! Before you go to bed, repeat over and over " I will only dream of fairies, I will only dream of fairies..." That should do it! :cloud9:

My only problem with that, is that with my luck I would end up dreaming of a different kind of fairy. "Not that there's anything wrong with that." :jester:

lol, I was waiting for someone to mention that, I should have known better... :sad2:

I used to work in a call center. I would dream about taking calls and talk in my sleep. I would say,"Thank you for calling customer service can I get your account number please?" I guess that was my habit from saying it 300+ times a day.

Now I dream about things at work and I can't remember the dreams. I just know that they keep waking me up.

I wish I'd have a dream about Disney. Wouldn't it be nice to dream about riding something over and over again. Well maybe not IASW!

Actually I had a very unusual experience the other day. I had off from work and took a nap during which I dreamed that there was a big sale on airfare to Fla. In my dream, my co-workers were signing up on a list for people who were interested but I knew that the good fares would sell out fast so I tried to call the airline. It was like one of those dreams when something is chasing you and you're running like you're waist deep in glue...I kept trying to call the airline but I couldn't get my cell phone to work properly and I couldn't see the numbers well and kept misdialing (arghh!) Anyway, when I woke up I thought, hmmmm.... let me just check the DIS boards and I see that Southwest had just put out a big sale on airfare! Unfortunately, we're not going until December and the sale did not extend that far in advance. By the way, I've never had a dream that actually predicted reality. Could it be that my anticipation of that perfect Disney vacation (and my miserly desire to get cheap airfare) has somehow connected me to some universal-cheapo-psychic-vibe? LOL! Very strange.

Wow I never realized that other people had the waiting table dream! I waited tables 11 years ago. Had the dreams then and very rarely still have them.

Just 2 nights ago I had my first WDW nightmare. (and hopefully my last)
We are leaving in 6 days for our BIG FAMILY VACATION to WDW with my family and my BF's family. We have been building a house and I have been really preoccupied and have not done my usual amount of plannning for this trip. Anyway in my dream the plane has landed at MCO but I forgot to bring any luggage. ANY Luggage. No tickets! And I am dressed in a business suit and heels. I am frantic trying to figure out if I can get my mother to Fed-Ex the luggage to us and how much it will cost. Hope this is not a recurring dream!!

Shew. I thought it was just me. I started having the Dis vacation gone bad dream. Sometimes I dream I keep forgetting to give my kids the little things I brought for them as presents from Tink. last night--the worst. I dreamt that I was coerced into going to DW with my BIL and SIL and their son--this is an arrangement that in real life I have absolutely vetoed and DH and I have been able to skirt the issue...only two more months until we are safely on the plane and they are NOT across the aisle with us....Anyway, nephew can vomit on command--usually every morning so he doesn't have to get on teh school bus (charming, I know) and he is constantly hitting my kids--especially DD (7). So my dream is that we are all together and it is a walking Jerry Springer show the entire week. Made only worse by the appearance of my MIL who smiles and tells me that I should learn to be more patient with other people. AAAHHHH!

When I was a poor college student I worked at Darien Lake,NY (a small amusement park now a 6 Flags). Well, I worked kiddy area...12 hours a day...grueling hot sun :sunny: ...Thousands of parents of little kids putting them on the boats...

Parents: Ring the bell, Johnny, ring the bell. Pull the rope Johnny, ring the bell. :hyper2: :hyper2::hyper2::hyper2::hyper2::hyper2::hyper2:

I just stood there, stoically in my cool sunglasses and ran the ride.

Later that night, sleeping soundly in my bed,"Ring the bell, Johnny, ring the bell. Pull the rope Johnny, ring the bell."

DH still mutters to me in kiddy areas at fairs,"Ring the bell, Johnny, ring the bell. Pull the rope Johnny, ring the bell."

I'll tell ya one thing, if my kids can't figure out how to ring the stinkin' bell after the ride op tells 'em, they don't need to ring it!!

i don't dream of them but when i wake up in the middle of the night i go to my laptop and look at them, perhaps that is why i do not dream of them-hmmmm

Now that I've read this, I remember when I was pregnant I kept having recurring dreams which placed me suddenly in WDW - there I'd be, in the gift shop at the Poly, realizing that (yay!) I was there, but (yikes!) had no warm-weather clothing or money. Two of my cousins were always there with me, and I'd follow them through the shop, appearing nonchalant but actually frantically strategizing how I was going to get the cash for accommodations, as well as clothing. I always woke up when my younger cousin started complaining about the heat. Wow, indeed...

Never had a bad disney dream. Never had any disboard dream, but.......I'm sure I will now! ;)
