Hill, does it feel like your kneecap is shifted?
Mouse, are you dehydrated? Anemic? Both caused me to lose weight. Literally, I went shopping for shorts one day, size 6 was a little snug, but still loose. 2 days and not enough fluids later, I'd lost 5 lbs and my size 6 shorts were too big.

Definitely not my skin, my skin is never in pain. It feels like the kneecap is in pain.
I find, when I squat, I have a hard time getting up using my own body weight. I need to use something nearby to help me up. If I have something heavy like my bookbag on my back and try to do it without something to hold onto, I basically fall over, it's too much pressure on my knees.
A good doctor will never say suck it up.
Unless you've a history of mental problems. Sometimes the pain can be all in your head, especially with physcological problems.

I mentioned before, sometimes when I walk it feels like it does...
If that makes sense?
You know like if you bend your leg up to your chin it'll like pop or whatever?
It does that sometimes when I walk
Sounds like me. Long story short, I was born with a messed up right knee (torn cartalige and wrong shaped meniscus). I couldnt sit indian style for a long time. I had surgury four years ago to fix it. But those symptoms are not nesseciarlly internal knee problems. While I am no knee expert, my knee specialist as well as my school athletic trainer have all briefed me on what kind of pain means I should go to the doctor because sometimes it can be growing pains. Sometimes if you knee cap feels like its popping or shifting its due to growing. Your knee cap shifts alot (naturally). But it can also be to a weak knee. If the muscles around your knee cap aren't very strong it will shift randomly causing you pain. As for the standing up thing, that can be weak knees. I have terribly weak knees and can't squat anymore.
Again all of this could be internal knee problems as well so I would get it checked out. I second imabrat to go to the doctor. An MRI or xray can prove or disprove anything.

Mouse, no one is going to laugh at you.
This sounds pretty serious.
Hope you get to a hospital soon, and I hope you feel better!!
