I called to confirm my POR ressie for Aug 21 -Aug 28, with trundle. Now I called way back and was told I could get Mansion trundle. Then a few months back I called said I wanted to confirm a trundle, was told AB only. Now after reading on here I was fine with AB. So that is fine. I requested a 2nd floor room, no specific building. But, when I asked the reservation person to the direct phone # to POR guest services or front desk, I was told that they could not give it out. Well after much calling I finally got the POR # direct. I want to give this # to family in an emergency. Oh, also to anyone who wants to go to Universal from a Disney resort, there is Miers Transportation, $15 round trip per person from your Disney hotel to Universal. Would a cab be cheaper? Thanks.

***Edit***Also I booked Gardengrocer, getting about $50 worth of goods delivered, the groceries will be there for us when we get to the hotel to check in. Thanks for all you help.

How many people are in your party? Because they will give the AB trundle bed rooms to families of 5 first. So if you have 5, you can be pretty certain you will get one. What building or floor is just luck of the draw. You can request a particular building and floor, but it is just that, a request. You won't know what you have until you check in.

We used Garden Grocer last year, and I thought you had to put in a time that you wanted your food delivered to you. I know they had left part of our order behind, but they brought it to us right away.

First of all, there are no trundle beds in the Mansions. Only Alligator Bayou.

Second, they won't know exactly what room you are in until they assign your room when you check in. And even then, it might change before the room is ready for you to check in. And when you call the resort, you actually get a call center somewhere in the world (they used to have one in Kansas). They don't want everyone just calling the resort, that's why they don't give it out to everyone.

You can always give your relative the telephone number after you check in with your room number.

That's wierd that they would not give you the direct number to POR as the phone number is published in many Disney World guides including the Passporter and Birnbaum's so it's not like it's a secret.
