So I am thinking we will be those people who go to WDW for every trip...

My DH and I got back from our WDW trip in December and even though there are other places that we want to go to, I still feel like I would rather just go back to Disney!! It was my DH's first trip (I have been many times) so that made it extra special for us and we just had the best time ever. It doesn't help any that right now my sister, husband, their kids and my mom and dad are all leaving today for WDW! I feel like it's "my place" and they can't go without me...LOL!! Does anyone else go to WDW for every vacation or do you travel around? I feel like we need to at least go to Vegas before we have kids, but then what if I wish the whole time we were at WDW?!

My wife and I have been lots of vacation places -- Hawaii, Caribbean, Bahamas, all over the US -- but I think we're in the same boat. We'd rather just go to Disney and soak in the Disney atmosphere.

My DH and I always want to do our vacation in Disney too! However, we have taken the occasional Vegas trip, which I love too. I want to do a cruise, but I want it to be a Disney Cruise!

We went to Vegas last July for a conference I was attending. My wife hadn't been there before, and I had only been at one of the hotels the last time I went. Granted, 114 degrees didn't make it pleasant to be outside, but it's not a place I'd ever take my kids. There's nothing at Disney that I'm not afraid for my kids to see.

We were Disney first timers last year, and I am going again in December 2007 without the husband. But we are planning a family trip again for Dec 2008, this time we will take in more things around Fl. like Kennedy Space center, and a trip to Daytona as well a a week at Disney. We figure if we do more than jusy Disney it justifies a yearly trip to Fl. I have no desire to go any where else.

My DH's family went every 4-5 years while he was growing up and my family went 2 times to WDW and 1 time to Disneyland, so Disney is in our blood. My DMIL and DFIL bought DVC several years ago. Our 4yo DD has been to Disney 3 times since she was 2 and we are going back in August for trip #4 for her!!! We had thought about going somewhere else with their DVC, however WDW is soooo magical for our 4 year old and we want to enjoy that as long as possible. DISNEY here we come!!!

I agree that Vegas is definitely not a place to take kids. My DH was also there for a conference and I joined him. We decided we would never bring our kids there. You're right there is nothing at Disney that kids can't see and that's why we enjoy going there for all our family vacations!

DH & I fell in love with Disneyworld for our very first visit together as adults. Now we have to go at least every other year. But we do vacation other places to experience new destinations. I don't think we'll ever stop going to Disneyworld!

I'm afraid we have overdone it (at least in our DD15's eyes). We often go over for day trips or quick weekends and the last time I suggested that we go for the weekend my DD said that she would rather spend the weekend with one of her friends.

There are other places I want to go but WDW keeps tempting me back (me and bf were originally planning for New York this year which we will do next, I just couldn't wait any longer for my WDW fix ) I even have 2008 in the pipeline with my sister but I think it'll be California the year after. The thing is that though I know i'll enjoy other places they just don't have the buildup that WDW does, though of course we'll be doing DL in California
