But I have decided I want to do this...I had my interview last Friday and am eagerly awaiting a response. I am 29 years old enrolled at Central Texas College. I was married at Disney in 06 and work p/t from home as a travel agent selling Disney! I started college in Sept 07 and am going for Hospitality Mgmt. So hopefully I get accepted dor the Spring semester! Any body else a bit older?

Don't worry, you are definitely not the oldest to do the CP. I have known older people.:)

I'm 32...I did my first CP at 26, and my professional internship at 29. I'm in the process of getting my Masters Degree.

Great thank you all!

I don't think it's strange at all!

In fact, we had a mother/daughter team in the Fall of '04. Yeah, I guess that was a bit strange.

Good luck and have fun!!

Today is my birthday. I am 38.

I received an offer on a Tuesday for a professional internship starting in January.

I also just started my PhD program.

True story....

I am 29 and I thought I would be the oldest CP by far....

However my roommate was 36....so of course I thought he would be the oldest CP.....

Then I met my next door neighbor....she was 39!!! So Im like...omg...someone for my roommate to hang out with lol...

Then we met her roommate....she was 57!!!

So come down here and dont worry....you wont be the oldest by a longshot.

I'm just curious about how you plan to do this while being married. I'm 26 and would love to try for the fall program. I'm married and I'm in school for my master's but I'd love to take some time off from my job and work for Disney, but the logistics of the whole thing are frustrating.

Would you live in their housing or would your husband live with you off-site?

It sounds like they don't put older people in with college kids, which is nice. Who wants to be 57 living with a bunch of 18 year olds? I'm only 22 and I don't want to be living with a bunch of 18 year olds!

It's actually a random process. When I was on my first CP, I was 19 and one of my roomies was almost 24. You won't know who you get put with until after check-in (unless you do the roomie thing, and that's only for one roomie).

Congrats, travlrmel on receiving a PI!! Best of luck and I hope everything works out great for you.

I'll be 40 this year and I had considered applying for an internship but I thought I was too old. You have given me hope!!!
