There have been many recent threads that include comments like Captain Thord said this or Captain Tom said that
Most of the time it is about what great things that are in store for DCL in the upcoming months and often 2007. Apparently on a recent cruise Captain Tom took an informal poll to see if people were more interested in the Mediterranean or Alaska.
In reality DCL has something special that, I believe, no other cruise line has: Family. Many of us speak of the Wonder & Magic like they are part of our family and to some degree they are. Cruise lines with 20+ ships don't have this same dynamic that we have onboard or on these boards.
Sometimes it reminds me of a parent having fun with their children...dangling a carrot in front of their face...just toying with them (for fun) because they can.
Since DCL has such a dedicated repeat cruiser base and that many of us hang on every word that might give us a clue into DCL's future we are like the aforementioned children.
They often say that the anticipation is the best part of any surprise and DCL seems understand that well.
