So how nice is it to have Express Pass??

Would a 6 and 3 year-old benefit from a Express Pass?
Believe it or not...some of the longest lines are for the kiddie stuff. OFTFRFBF usually always has a line of at least 45 mins!

This is a little off topic, (as far as the little ones) but still relevant to EP. We were on-site this past Sunday, May 18th. We didn't get to the parks until 11:30ish. The wait for the Hulk was 45 minutes, Doctor Doom was 20 minutes, and Spiderman was 35 minutes. Just for the heck of it, I started the timer on my watch when we walked passed the TM who waved us into the EP lane for Hulk, and turned it off when we got into the Spiderman gift shop (that's where the ride dumps you when you get off, for those who aren't sure what I'm talking about). The total time was 27 minutes for the 3 rides, including the walking between each. To me, on a weekend, staying on site is a no brainer. Now, I have no patience for lines of any sort, amusement parks, restaurants, banks, lines at the Post Office (and that's my day job, we don't get any kind of express pass cause we work there :lmao: ) My point is, I HATE LINES, so EP was made for me, but your mileage may vary ;)

That's my fear too. How will I ever go to Hersheypark again????

We went in April this year (after spring break etc - so was quiet) it was the lowest rated price band, so not busy - but it saved sooooooo much time at both parks - did one each day...

We bought one in advance for IOA and one when there for US - both ways dead easy. We were only allowed on rides once - they had started scanning at lots of rides - and 2 or 3 rides were writing on the pass in waterproof ink. I think they didn't check off on the cat in the hat, but that was about the only one. Using express at Universal and Fastpass at Disney we had a great holiday with really short lines.

Becuse we will go several times within a year we decided to switch our June/July hotel to an offsite one, save the extra money (we had points for Nick Hotel) and apply it to the premium pass which gets you FOTL after 4pm. We are ok with later entry time as we can just pop in and do what we want without lines (free valet is included with the pass). If you are going for say 5 days and expect to buy EP for each of them, the cost of the annual pass (~$289) could be worth it (79.99 tix + 179.95 in EP for the summer months). Plus you can always ride more than once whereas with the EP you hope the gate attendant doesn't check it off. You also get a non-peak tix to HHN.
