So, how many fastpasses do you normally do in a day?

Our trip in December we averaged 4 FP/day. We averaged around 7-8 hours a day including a table service meal in the parks. We split Epcot and Animal Kingdom into 2 days each. MK and HS were a day each.

We did early extra magic morning hours; so, we were able to get some rides done without fastpass.

We saw most everything. What we didn't see we really had no desire to do.

What I'm interested in finding out is how many fastpasses do you do if you don't do extra magic hours. I'll be having a trip next time where we won't be going to the parks early or staying late.

We typically do 10+ FP's per day...rarely do we do a stand by line. It depends on the park as some are more show based and then Epcot has the WS. MK we will use alot of FP's in a day. We also normally do an afternoon break. We actually switched up the way we do Disney this trip due to the success with additional FP's. Starting out this trip we were getting up early for EMH but after a couple of disappointing outcomes and actually being able to do more rides during normal park hours we started sleeping in.

We usually just do 3 fp's per day, but we typically go for two week or longer trips. Sometimes we're just in the park for a few hours per day. Some days we do zero fp's. Other days we may do 5 or 6 in a day. It varies.

Depends on the park and how long our trip is. This past trip we used 3-4 a day in every park but MK. At MK we got at least 6 or more each day

Do you just grab whatever is available at the time? 10 fastpasses sounds pretty good. How do you do so many?

I use the app and refresh alot while in line or while we eat. We will often use our first 3 FP's in the first hour in order to be able to add more tier 1 FP's and then keep adding more as we go. One day at Epcot we did our inital 3 and then added 2 Test Track, 2 Frozen, 1 Soarin', and a couple tier 2 rides before heading to world showcase around 2:00. After spending the afternoon at WS we added another Soarin and then grabbed one for Illuminations. This is for 3 people so I'm sure it's more difficult for larger groups. Magic Kingdom we will use more as there are many more rides.

5-7 a day based on what we are doing at the parks. Yes use the app and refresh. At HS we were able to do TSM 4 times by checking the app. You have to keep checking but it works.

We do about 4-6 a day. We tend to do things in the afternoon that don’t require FPs or don’t have them so we maybe pull an FP or two for the evening. We’re going to try for more at MK this year but HS and AK don’t have that many rides and most of the Tier 2 rides at Ep don’t need them.

On our last trip, we did very well for having a 2.5yo and a 1yo (we move slowly).

We only did 2 days this time because we had to leave early due to Irma. But on those days we did...

Day 1: MK (7 FP between 9 and 5:30ish)
-3 pre-booked FP and Crystal Palace lunch before 12:30.
-Booked 4 more, were out of the park at 5:30pm. Could have done more if we stayed through until close. We went back to the villa at GF for dinner and then returned for HEA.

Day 2: Epcot/MK (8 FP between 9am and 7ish)
-3 pre-booked FP and late breakfast seating at Akershus by 12:30pm
-Booked 1 more in Epcot at 1:00
-Hopped to MK and did 4 more before we left at 7:00pm.

Even though we move slowly we really tried to get a lot in without overwhelming our little ones since we were only going to stay for 2 of our 7 days.

We don't do EMH, because we stay offsite. We also don't rope drop and aren't late night owls. On summer trips, we'll do 8-9 FP+ in a 5-6 hour day. We're here now and were in MK today. As busy as it was, we did 6 FP+ in about 4 hours.

How do you use the first three in the first hour? Do you move the second ones up for everyone in your party as soon as you scan for the first?

Exactly. As soon as I tap the first FP I move up the 2nd FP and then do the same after using the 2nd FP.

That's a great plan- do you often still get your top three/still available Day-of?

This is us too except we usually go late & stay late & don’t take a break. We average 10-12 hours depending on what time the park closes. We almost always eat 2 sit down meals in the parks. I’ve never really counted FPs, but we never wait in any standby anymore. I’d say in MK we average about 10+, in Epcot about 6, in DHS about 7, & in AK about 5.

In MK, I make my first 3 for harder to get stuff like mine train, Peter Pan & maybe splash or thunder. I make them back-to-back. Then after the 3rd depending on where we are in the park I refresh. Then we make our way around the park. I don’t hop all over the park. So if I’m in Adventureland or Frontierland, I’ll look for a jungle cruise, pirates, or haunted mansion . Usually one of them is available. As soon as we scan our band, I go back on & look at what to queue up next even before we get on the ride.
