Just curious. We will be going on 10/09. DH and I have already planned to dress up with the kids too. Just wondering if there are many adults who also dress up. We thought it would be fun and the kids would like it!

we are, just got the final bits of our outfits today and the wife is currently fixing her wig.

I am not going then, rather early Dec for me, but did have to say hello, Nancy.

And what's up with the SC address, IL is chopped liver? :confused3 ;) :teeth:

Great to see you again. Have a great time at the World.

Well, my dd, celebrating her 13th birthday, and I are going to MNSSHP on Oct 23. We're traveling with another mom and her dd, who turns 13 the day after we get home. The two girls are having their last Halloween as princesses! I have a terrific Malificent costume I was going to wear but I think it will be a pain in the rear to move around in. My oldest dd, 30, brought me her Malificent costume..who knew she had one...and it is less voluminous than mine. Not nearly as nice but it's much more doable. The headpiece is one piece and the 'dress' is another, and the 'dress' doesn't drag on the ground. So....if it's too warm, I'll wear the headpiece with a black tee I have that has Malificent outlined in gold on it. If it's chilly, I'll wear the 'dress'. The other mom has no interest in dressing up. Says she will find a Halloween tee shirt there or wear her vintage Mouseketeer shirt.

Thanks for saying HI Dan! Illinois is colder and further away from WDW! We can drive there in 6 hours now!

We finally made a trip, last year to WDW when MNSSHP was being held, after 38 some visits previously, we dedided to try the party and dress up. Me, my wife, daughter and son in law all dressed up and had the time of our lives. I was skeptical at first but after seeing all the costumes on previous nights on the monorail and everywhere, we were glad we did.

Do it again, probably not right away. We enjoyed ourselves but to do it over and over, to us once was enough for awhile. There are other things to do and see, which we never seem to get around to, but we did experience MNSSHP and for a first timer, it was worth the money. Dressing up is all part of the fun and where else can you dress up and be a kid again, heck, we're in our 50's and still had a blast, let intibitions home and go for it.
