So how is Coral Reef?

We really, really enjoyed our lunch there. It was hot outside and Coral Reef was a wonderfully relaxing, cool place to sit and have lunch and leisurely watch the fish swim by. The colors in the restaurant are so nice and soothing. I just loved looking at all the details that the designers incorporated. Every surface was made to look like water. Gorgeous!

The kids didn't watch the fish as much as I though they would, but when a diver swam by, they were enthralled. There is a sheet that shows all the different fish that can be found in the tank, so they tried to spot all of them. Ask your waiter for this. The kids food was really just blah, so I would suggest letting your kids share from your plate. The food is generous. There is lots of yummy bread served too!

The service was fantastic! Our waiter was super and dealt well with our party of 6 adults and 3 kids. I had the steak, which was delicious and cooked perfectly! But, my father had the winning dish - He ordered the salmon with the mushroom risotto. It was out of this world!!! I wanted to lick the plate clean to get the last drops of risotto. The chocolate lava cake-like dessert was absolutely fantastic too. YUM!

We really like Coral Reef, we have dined there twice and both times it was really good and we really liked looking around and finding the different types of fish in the huge fish tank. It's been a couple of years since we last dined there only because we wanted to try out other restaurants in the WS. I just made our ADRs for our Aug/Sept stay and I am happy to say we will be returning to CR on one of our Epcot nights. We are so excited that we are returning ....I can't wait to have my Chocolate Wave again .
