So how did you find out about the DISboards?

my story's pretty funny.
i remember i was looking for cheat codes for that game VMK and the VMK boards on here popped up.
i later joined to see what other codes were on here.
but then i later moved onto here to talk with people closer to my age.

so, what's your story?

I don't know how she found out about it.
But she showed me and I lurked around for a couple months.
She then let me join and here I am.

My sister. Its weird because I was always been more obsessed with Disney than she. I geuss she lurked here for years before telling me about this place. (I was younger...and not very computer-literate)

The I lurked before officially joining last year.

I was on VMK, and everyone had "dis" in their signature.
I was like..what the heck does that mean!
So I searched it, and found the VMK board on here

I knew about it for a long time, but when I found out we were going in 06 I decided to join.
I originally came on the DIS to check out the Universal part of the site (I actually never got there.. xD), but wound up here, and in December it will be my third year.

But anyway, my mom had a lot of friends here so they had a meet, a couple in WDW and some in Cape Cod. We went to the Cape Cod ones as a little vacation/get away.
I asked what was the DIS and they all showed me. And one of the moderators or webmasters (idk which one it was) helped me sign up.

They were the first kind-of theme park related Forums I read and the DIS was mentioned and voila. I joined about 3 years later
