So here’s my problem with the waitlist

About a week ago we decided to take a weekend trip to WDW next month to meet up with some friends from out of state. We had enough spare points to book pretty much any studio for 2 nights, and didn’t really care which resort. Nothing was available, so set up waitlist, but you can only have two requests (even though there are 12 resorts). So I picked the two I thought would be most likely to come available (SSR and OKW, both of which had one of the two nights we needed). But I kept stalking and today was able to book the two nights at the Poly.
Bottom line is I wish the waitlist had a way to indicate that any one of multiple resorts would be fine.

It would be nice, but I think it would get way too complicated and by limiting, it does give more owners a chance to potentially get a room.

Congratulations on getting the room! At least with the online system, we have the ability to stalk.

Over 10 years ago, you could do as many WL's
This was when a CM had to set them up.
Members took advantage. Gst would do EVERY possible wl.
Your wl's would result in 36 different wl.
The system can.t handle that.

I have owned for 13 years and always remember just two so i think it’s been longer than that!

The waitlist sucks. The entire thing needs to be scrapped and set up by a professional.

I had a good experience with the waitlist. It is not perfect but it gives us a chance at getting what we want.
Because of it I will be able to try BRV.

I've owned 15 years and recall when it could be all the resorts. Manually set up by MS as there wasn't online booking then. Resorts didn't have all the categories they do now either. There were a lot of unhappy people when it changed to 2 and for example the number of categories at AKV meant you couldn't waitlist all of them just to get a room.
