So has anyone seen Secret Window?

No Spoliers from me. I was just curious. My pal and I went to see it last Saturday while we were in Biloxi. I thought it was oretty good and Depp did a good job again. But I don't remember reading a story called Secret Window by S. King, however I must have because I saw the story line coming way before the end. What did y'all think?

We saw it last weekend. It was okay - maybe a 5 or 6 out of 10 for us. DH and I both agree that it wouldn't have been nearly as enjoyable if Johnny Depp hadn't been in it. He is such a good actor.

I agree! He really made me like his character alot. Just like he did in POTC. He had some pretty good one liners, wouldn't you agree!

The Stephen King book isn't called "Secret Window." I forget the title of it but I just saw it in BJs last weekend and it had be reprinted with Johnny Depp on the cover. I used to be a big Stephen King fan and the book was not one that I had ever remembered seeing (whatever it's name was!).

Haven't seen Secret Window yet and will probably wait until it comes out on video. It seems to be getting so-so reviews. I only go to the movies if one keeps getting outrageously good reviews.

The story is called Secret Window, Secret Garden and it is featured in the four novella collection called Four Past Midnight.

While I don't enjoy Stephen King books or shows and I had no desire to see the movie (even with the gorgeous Mr Depp LOL)....friends of ours wanted to see it so I didn't argue and went along.

The movie was good enough that I'd like to see it again to clear up a few questions I thought of afterwards.
The ending was a bit predictible but it still held my interest.
No clue about the title of the book though....

Just saw it today. Predictable. Depp did a good job but there was one scene where he was definitely doing a Jack Nicholson.

DD and her boyfriend (both 15) went last night. When we asked them how the movie was they both said "strange." They said it was OK, but very strange.

I really enjoyed it!
But then I love Depp and King....so how could I go wrong
