Any reviews? I saw it at the grocery store and thought about buying it, but I'm not a fan of super sweet drinks. Just wondering if this new mix was not as sweet as the others.

If it's the one that comes in a bottle and you don't need to add anything, I love it. My neighbor is a Bacardi salesman and gave me a big bottle to try. It is sweet, but not as much as a wine cooler or a fruity drink. I put it on chopped ice because it was best really cold.

No, this is in the frozen section in one of those small cans (like frozen OJ). You apparantly don't have to have a blender, just 'dump' the can into a pitcher and mix with one can of rum, and club soda. It said to serve over ice and garnish with mint and lime.

Does the one in the jug already have the rum in it?

The one in the jug has the rum in it. Though I've tried other Bacardi frozen mixers and they have all been good.

im a mojito connesieur-lol
that frozen mix is actually pretty good -but it is sweet-the pre mix in the bottle less so-if you going to use mix i simples is good-just use the proporitons on the bottle
Roses makes a good one-same intructions-but honestly-making a mojito from scratch is easy
in a 16 oz glass
strip leaves off one stalk of fresh mint
add 2 or 3 tablespoons rock candy syrup-make your own or purchase-trade vics is a good brand
muddle to release mint oils
add the juice of 1/2 a lime
1 1/2 oz white or limon rum ( limon prefered)
stir througthly
fill glass with ice and club soda
YUM
for friut mojitos-at two tablespoons manjo, strawberry or other friut puree.

We don't have Trader Joe's out here in FL. How do you make rock candy syrup?!?

The only Barcardi "mixed" mojito that I absolutely loved is the one at the Bacardi factory in Puerto Rico. I don't know how they do it. It is better than any mojito in a jug, a bottle, pre mixed or at a bar. I have made them pretty close at home. I don't like sugary, sweet drinks and I like fresh lime. I am growing mint on my patio just for the occasion.

you should be able to purchase trader vics rock candy syrup-or another brand-with the mixers at any liquor store-but if you want to make it yourself

2 parts sugar to one part water-cook and stir over medium heat til the sugar melts and the mixture boils-boil for two minutes. take off the heat and allow to cool completely-store in the fridge. It will start to develop crystals on the side of the container after a few weeks but you can still use it. the stuff you buy bottled doesnt usually crystalize.
