We had to cancel a DCL cruise in December, and DH wanted both a Christmas Party and Candlelight Processional and at least three nights pre Christmas at WDW. Three months out we got OKW HA and I waitlist BWV, standard HA since they were same amount of points, and yesterday it came through, 31 days out. With an ECV this means I won’t need to go on a bus after Epcot closes. I am so happy. That’s for the night of the CP!
We go to BLT ( one bedroom the next night for two nights) so I won’t need a bus after the Christmas party either. Needing a bus and using an ECV after a park closes, I have had very late nights, especially when I travel with others who also need an ECV. We’ve experienced them getting a bus just for a friend and myself after the bus area by Epcot was empty except for us.
So, just about a month out, I was able to get something very appropriate for what we needed! After DH leaves, I go back to BWV in SV HA Studio which I had booked 11 months out as a trip to be with friends.
