So frustrated with VMK!! Please Help!!

UGH! I have been trying to play this game for MONTHS, but every single time this is what happens to me.....
I can get as far as actually clicking on Main Street, the page loads up, but the SECOND I try to move, the hourglass icon comes up and my computer says that "Internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to shut down."

I have tried everything that comes up in the helps, including uninstalling and reinstalling shockwave and nothing has worked!

Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do about it?

sometimes my internet has to shut down because of vmk, but very rarely because i have a newer computer. Try this: have only vmk running while on the computer. other things running at the same time make vmk slower. also, having an older computer REALLY makes vmk hard to run. on my last computer vmk wouldn't run at all! keep trying!

You have either a virus/trojan/spyware/adware on your computer. That's what happened on my older computer with a trojan and it happened whenever I tried to do certain high bandwith stuff

Yes! I have had a very similar thing happen every time my character tries to enter a Blizzard Beach room. Every time, it shuts down AOL completely. It's really strange, and it's still happening. If this is a virus/trojan/spyware situation, it is odd that this is the only manifestation, huh?

yes that happens to me too! i can never play music or it says vmk has shut down...

so i can not get the space magic pin.
