Not even a pound lost! I am so irritated. I have been so careful to watch everything that I am eating is low carb or no carb. Anyone else been stalled for more than a couple of weeks??

When I was losing (I'm now maintaining), I hit several plateaus that lasted between 2-3 weeks, and sometimes I even gained a pound here and there. It drove me crazy--I would exercise every day, eat perfectly, and still no loss! It can be very frustrating, but from someone who's been there, just keep following your program, and the weight will start coming off again. Keep up the GREAT WORK and don't let a plateau discourage you--it will pass--I promise!::yes::

Hang in there! :sunny:

If you're feeding your body healthy foods in the appropriate amounts and you're exercising, the scale will eventually cooperate!

There are lots of different ways to break a stall. One is by eating more (healthy food, not junk food!) for a day or two and then going back to your plan. Eating too little can throw your metabolism into starvation mode.

A long time ago, I read that Dr. Atkins didn't even consider it a stall until 5 weeks - don't know if that's still true. :D

You're doing so many healthy things for your body - the scale will eventually cooperate, I promise!! ::yes::

You might want to take a second look at some of your lo-carb foods. Hard to accept, but some of them can slow your weight loss. Try not to have any "net carb" (like lo carb tortillas, bread, Atkins bars) or foods with sugar alcohols for a few days, and see if that helps. Diana
