So excited Unexpected trip! Just booked for november!! :)

Ok so we normally only go every other year, BUT due to selling our house and having some spare cash we managed to talk ourselves into doing a trip with friends we met on here !! " didn't take a lot of persuading as we love spending time with Ian Susanne & Ryan and to do it in Disney is even better"

Im So excited! .............. Even though its cost double of last years 15 nights at SSR in a 2bed with DDP lol.

So we are staying at AOA in a Lion king suite, we had a tough time deciding on this as we wanted POR then POLY! but it came down to the fact we would have DH myself and our 3 boys 8,8,10 in one room!
We really really considered it as our friends are at POR and so we would have loved to be at the same hotel, plus we have never stayed there an always wanted to,
Then we was stuck on POLY as our boys all loved the decor plus the fact it had a monorail, ( I'm still mourning the fact we choose AOA)

Don't get me wrong I'm soooo excited to be staying at AOA as we did 2 nights at LM last yr and LOVED the place but its been my dream to do POLY we just worried that since we're not taking my mum this trip and she normally gives us adult time that we would need to at least have the extra space!

Also was very worried we wouldn't get ADRs we wanted as we are only just over 4 months out, but I've actually managed to get the ones we wanted!
So now all I have to worry about is the weather!!! And hoping they still have flights at the end of the month for a half decent price!!
We ONLY ever go in September-October with last yr being the latest we have been leaving on the 8th October. ( I've been later when I was a teen but can't remember what it was like, I'm guessing warm as I'm in the pool in the videos haha)
I'm really hoping for some hot days so I can get to the water park at least once! And some warm days so we can swim in the pool

November is our month of choice. (been about 13 times in November) Fantastic weather, no humidity, no rain still hot and lots going on. Sometimes it can get chilly in the evening, especially towards the end of November but I can honestly say that it's normally just perfect weather.

How exciting not to have too long to wait for your next holiday. We did a sneaky trip one year with only a couple of months to wait and it was great as the planning excitement just stayed until we went. No huge countdown..bliss

I'm so pleased when I hear stuff like this lol, I'm a real worrier when it comes to stuff like this, I'm very happy I don't have a year or 2 count down! We normally always have at least 15 months to wait so 4 is nothing!
We fly out on the 29th October till the 12th so hoping to catch the last MNSSHP and be able to see Disney Xmas decs as haven't been to Disney at Xmas time since I was a very little child! And I don't remember any of it!

Yay!! So pleased for you! We are staying AoA in November too. Cant wait!

We went from 29th October to 12th Nov last year. Apparently it was colder than usual because of the hurricane - we didn't think it was cold lol. We went to Blizzard Beach and had plenty of days by the pool. We did wear cardigans / fleeces first thing in the morning and late at night. We also managed to do both MNSSHP and MVMCP plus Food and Wine festival. I missed the Osbourne Lights but they were on from 10th onwards.
