I have booked a suprise trip for my (then) 7 1/2yr old boy! And yes I'm crazy enough to do it over our spring break in March.

He thinks we are simply going to a friends house near Sacramento for the week.

Little does he know after a weekend pitstop we'll be driving down to Disneyland for the week!

Booked our room at HOJO, cannot wait.

It's going to be a long 19 weeks ;-) I hope I can keep the secret. I wonder how close we'll get before he realizes where we are truly going.:yay:

Oh, how FUN!!!!!! Those surprise-the-kids trips are the best, and his first trip to DL, too!! Be sure to bring your video camera--maybe you'll have a youtube hit on your hands, LOL.

I once surprised my older two with a DL trip when they were about 8 and 10. They thought we were taking Auntie Cathy to the airport, but we were taking ourselves as well! They still talk about it and they're adults now.

Congrats on his first visit! Remember to grab a "First Visit" button for him and "I'm Celebrating" button for the both of you. Hope you two have a great trip!

Have fun! how exciting, I have to much of a big mouth to do a surprise trip, maybe next time :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Hopefully Spring Break won't be to bad for you, we did it in 2008. The weekdays really weren't to crowded. :goodvibes

I know keeping the surprise is hard (been keeping my son's surprise christmas trip for 8 months now:scared1:) but it is worth it. You will have so much fun
