So excited! Just made my first ever reservation!

Yay!

I just called MS for the very first time... of course, I was nervous, thinking I was going to be using all the wrong extensions, etc., for all my questions. My main question was whether or not I really had developer points. My regular points were showing up in my account (we bought into BLT in Jan. for 160) but nothing else.

Anywho, she said they were there! So I was able to get my first choice - a three night stay at the Grand Californian (hotel, not villas) for June, Downtown Disney view! We've never stayed there yet, stayed at the other hotels in CA but that one was still just a tad expensive. Well, we figured with the villas coming we better do that while we still could!

Not to mention, this is a birthday trip! For me!! Can I call MS and demand balloons?!

So, the moral of this story... I am so thrilled that everything was so easy to book this! Yay, Disney! (and onto buying into points at GCV)

It's Disney, you can 'demand' anything (for a fee)!!

We stayed at the Grand California a few years back on points, had reserved a concierge room. We felt like Kings! They greeted us as we pulled up to the porte cachier and walked us directly to a special check-in desk on an upper level. We also go to use the Concierge Lounge with continental breakfast every morning, cocktails in the afternoon and coffee/cookies in the evening.
