I'm just so excited it's our 1st ever trip in 2 weeks and 2 days and I just can't wait the kids are 2 and 4 and are really excited I just want 5th March to hurry up.
I feel quite organised got lists of things to take and a bit of a plan of where we want to eat but where would be the best place to start in the parks? we are staying at HNY.

I remember being so excited before our first trip but never thought we would be going back so often. I imagine with the ages of your children fantasyland might be a good place to start. :goodvibes

Make sure you read as much as you can on here so you know what to expect. Our first trip was before I discovered the boards, but all our subsequent trips have been so much better with the help of all the people here.

Awww i remember that feeling! Just wait until you get thru the turnstiles and see the castle for the first time! Its the nicest feeling in the world. Enjoy the packing and plan making. Now long to go now!

How lovely - I remember our first trip and the excitement of the unknown, and the relative quiet parks as we went in term time! :goodvibes. Nothing can beat that first trip imo, although it is lovely going back.

I agree that Fantasyland is prob a great place to start unless you have boys and you may want to start at Discoveryland and take them on Buzz's laser blast first (that is if you are doing EMH which you probably will be if staying at HNY, or not going into the Park later in the day for your first day), then on to Fantasyland. During EMH there are not that many rides open so Fantasyland is a good one to do as there are a few there normally (that is if all the EMH rides are open due to the refurbs).

I know you will perhaps know this already, but if you want to plan and book meals you can do so before you go - particularly if you want any character meals :)

well we dont arrive until 9pm on the monday so it will be bed for us and then nice and fresh for the morning. is there anyway of finding out whats open during EMH? yes its 2 boys sobe going on Buzz's laser blast. ive booked buffalo bills but noting else yet as worried about their reaction to characters so I was going to wait and see what they are.like, would I need to book in advance?

Also go the 5th march so I'm also wishing the next two weeks away!

EMH is normally peter pan, dumbo, carousel, tea cups, buzz, orbitron and space mountain. Of those peter pan, dumbo, buzz and orbitron are the most important to get done during EMH because they will get longer queues later in the day (although buzz and peter pan do have fastpass). The tea cups and carousel are normally fairly easy to get on at any time of day.
