First NFL game to be exclusive to YouTube tonight!

The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers are playing in Sao Paulo for what will be the last Friday NFL game for a while, thanks to the Sports Broadcasting Act. The game is airing exclusively on YouTube, with SOME exceptions. All you lucky fans in Los Angeles and Kansas City DO NOT NEED YOUTUBE to watch this game. NFL rules ensure that LOCAL teams remain FREE on LOCAL channels. Thus, NBC has picked up local TV rights in those local areas for the game, and it will air on channels 41.1 in Kansas City and 4.1 in Los Angeles.

We are. We subscribe to YoutubeTV, because that's the only way we can get the ACC network.

The NFL is a total racket now, most games on regular cable, but then a few games to You Tube, Peacock, Prime, Netflix and the NFL network, so if you are huge fan you need all these subscriptions

Except if you’re a diehard fan of your local team… in which you need NO subscription to any service to watch ALL your local team’s games. The games on networks longer than 3 letters get syndicated to over the air channels locally.

I think it eventually backfires on pro sports when being able to watch becomes a money grab of various pay stations. I thought they was why they have constant ads to pay for all of that?.................apparently NOT !!! I like watching the Indy500, but the past couple of years the time trials were only viewable on some pay channel..........nope not paying to watch. Then they wonder why their fan base is shrinking...............gee go figure.
