Ok, we are a party of 4 with 2 DS ages 5 & 6. We will be at Disney 4/30-5/7/08 staying at POFQ. As of now we are not on the DDP but are leaning towards it because of all the wonderful restaurants to try. The only negative part is that we hate being tied down to ADR's, BUT we did get great dining times and all the restaurants that we wanted. And hey, we gotta eat right?? I just hate that the tip is not included for 2008. That would make such a HUGE difference! Ok, here goes:

Thursday, May 1
Dinner:
Le Cellier - 5:50 pm

Friday, May 2
Dinner:
Boma - 5:40pm

Saturday, May 3
Dinner:
Ohana - 5:30 pm

Monday, May 5
Dinner:
Chef Mickey’s - 5:25 pm

Tuesday, May 6
Lunch - Crystal Palace 11:30 am

I think we'll need 2(?) more if we would be on the DDP. Any suggestions? I hope I'm counting right. All of the above are 1 credit.

You've got most of my must do's! Enjoy!

Thanks so much! It's amazing how much influence the Dis has made on our choices. I just can't believe that we got them all so easily. I mean, there we're less than 6 months out and were still able to get Le Cell and Boma. I think I may need to change Chef Mickey's to a different day and maybe do another Epcot restaurant on our other Epcot day...decisions, decisions! I wish all problems in life were this much fun!

Your doing nearly all the same as we have booked.:thumbsup2
Except we are also doing Coral Reef and 50's Prime Time and we are also doing WCC and Kona for breakfast.
At first we weren't going to do the DDP, but after wanting to try so many restaurants it worked out cheaper to do it, now I am really looking forward to it.
I can't really give you any recommendations about any of the restaurants, I have chosen them all on what I have read here on the Dis. I just wish we had longer at WDW so we could try some more of the restaurants

Oooh, I was thinking of something for breakfast and Kona is a good idea. Hmmm, we shall see. But don't you hate being tied down to particular eating times? That's the only pain in the butt for us. Especially since we like to take an afternoon break at the pool, then have to rush to shower and make our ADR's.

We went that same time frame this past Spring (4/27-5/4) with 2 and 4 year olds, and first let me say that it was GREAT!!! Fabulous weather , not too crowded, etc.

Of your ressies, we ate at CP, CM and LeCellier - highly recommend them all!! We'll probably be trying Ohana's next time. 2 others we really liked were - Kona and Wolfgang Puck Cafe. We did Kona dinner and it was Fabulous - 2nd only to LeCellier. I've heard great things about breakfast too, but we're not big breakfast eaters. WPC was really good too, we may do it again. It was nice to go to DTD for the evening, do some strolling/shopping afterwards.

The only restaurant we weren't thrilled with was WCC. Food was OK (loved the cornbread) and service was terrible. We won't be going back.

OMG, that's so funny. We were there at the same time as you this year too (4/25-5/1). The weather and crowds is the main reason we're going back the same time again. But the only restaurants that we're repeating so far from last time is CM and CP. CP was our absolute favorite. What me and dh are most excited about is Boma. I showed him the menu and was pleasantly surprised that he'd want to try it. My ds6 is adventurous with food so he'll enjoy it. Not sure about DS5 though - although he does like sushi :confused3

You have some good choices.

I like WCC a lot, pretty good food and a fun atmosphere.

I also like Kona Cafe, though have only had it for dinner.

For breakfast, I enjoy the Grand Floridian Cafe

That is funny! Great minds...

I would love to try Boma but I don't think DH or the kids would like it all, so I don't see it happening! I agree CP is wonderful -the food, the decor, the characters!

I also picked Boma our last trip due to reviews on this board. I went with a party of 12. We all thought the food was horrible. Everything had the same spice, therefore had the same flavor. The only restaurant at Disney I would never return to. All 12 of us felt the same way.

I would possiby try Spoodle's at the BW, or Capt n Jack's in downtown Disney.

Ohana was fantastic.
