SO excited!!! Friend came home from iraq!

I just got the best surprise ever and i had to share it with someone....so thats you guys

My brother has been telling me all day that there would be a surprise coming tonight, but then he told me he was kidding so i thought nothing of it...I knew we were going out to dinner later, so im just sitting downstairs watching football with my dad when the doorbell rang...the doorbell NEVER rings here so i wanted to see who it was...i answered it and it was a family friend that just came home from iraq!!!
I knew he was coming home soon, but we were thinking a week or so...apparently he called last night to tell my family he was home, but i was babysitting and didnt know, so they kept it from me...
i am soooo excited!
just had to share!

Jen, that's so great. I'm glad to hear he's back. Is he home for good? Have you ever asked him about being over there? Did he want to go? I know a lot of people think we shouldn't be there, but I seem to get a different feeling from people who have been there. What was his feelings?

Anyway, enough rambling...........I'm glad he's home.

Tammie--he is home for awhile, he has to go for some training and i think he can be sent anywhere, but as for this deployment, he is done...we went out to dinner with my family and him tonight and we had a ball..we talked alot about what was going on--he said that he was going over to help people and that it made it all worth it to him. He wanted to go..i have a few friends over there right now (thats what i get for living near an air force base!) but they all really think they are making a difference..hes bringing over some pictures the next time he comes over-im sure well be hearing more stories..
