So excited for Christmas 2018

I know it's early for Christmas, but I'm so excited I was able to actually get a value studio at AKV for Dec 23rd through the 29th. I had been watching the room availability all month. I thought of booking earlier in the month and then walking the reservation, but didn't. Each day I logged on the value was not available, but this morning there was something available right at 8am. I'm so happy. I know you all will understand why, and booking the value gives us a few points to bank for our next UY for a trip next Christmas.

Nice! That's great that you didn't have to walk. I tried for a value over Thanksgiving and couldn't get it at 8am, but I waitlisted it and it filled a few days later.

I was ready to book a standard studio but this saves me 20 points. That's like getting 1 free night!

I know how you feel. I booked a value studio for December 14-21. I will probably end up cancelling some of the nights, but I need to wait to see what airfare looks like. I have always had luck getting a value studio right at the 11-month mark. I wish I could get 3 of them for Thanksgiving next year, but I know that won't happen. If I get just one, I'll be happy.
