Yay!!:banana::banana: I am so excited!! Just booked the DLH for our stay during the Tinkerbell in January. We have never stayed onsite before so this will be a first, both for staying at Disneyland Resort hotel AND without the kids! It's our 10th wedding anniversary and I'm so excited to be spending the time alone with my hubby without 3 kids in two. The DLH has always looked like a place I would like to stay so I'm looking forward to it, even though it will probably be too cold to get any use out of the newly renovated (and totally cool-looking pool). Also looking forward to eating at "grown up" places! Any suggestions on things to do that you might not normally get to do without the kids? We fly in on Thursday evening and the marathon is Sunday morning. The Expo is Friday/Saturday, I believe, so that gives us some time to "play". I do want to have a really nice dinner somewhere with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. Any opinions?? Oh, I can't WAIT!!! Can you tell I'm excited???? :yay::yay:

We will be in Disneyland without the kids that weekend too! It's our 11th anniversary and we are running the 5k. We are planning on an evening at Napa Rose and some time in the Cove Bar.

the daughter, grandson, husband and ex-husband. It is my daughter's 25th birthday this weekend so we are doing the 1/2 and the husband and ex are watching the grandson. We are staying off site at the residence inn which is within walking distance and where we normally stay when we go to Disneyland.;)

My DH and I also celebrated our 10th anniversary, onsite, for the very first time two years ago without the kids. So, I absolutely share your excitement because it will be an entirely different trip! We spent some time going on the rides that our small children never wanted to go on and we had a nice dinner at the Napa Rose. The dinner was an experience we will never forget.

Did you mention that it is your anniversary when you booked the room? I did and the GCH left us some wonderful surprises when we came back from dinner. There were rose petals on the bed and chocolate covered strawberries and apple cider. It was wonderful!

Have a great time and good luck on the 1/2 marathon!
