So Excited!!! Disneyland and WDW visits back to back!

I am just BEYOND excited to say that I will be attending a work conference at the Disneyland Hotel at the very end of October! I will squeeze in a little time to visit Disneyland, since I have only been there once, in 1984 when I was 12! I have never been to DCA, since it was not there back then, but I am thinking I want to keep it "old school". I am wondering about the Halloween party, however. I do not want to purchase a ticket to that, but just want to be assured that Disneyland will not have the party on the 30th. That seems to be the night I will have a break from the conference. Am I right that the party will not go on on the 30th? Does anyone know when the park will close that night? I will have a special convention "twilight" ticket and I can only go the last 4 hours it is open, I believe.

I will the next day, Halloween, fly directly to WDW, arriving on Nov. 1st. I am SO EXCITED, I think I might BURST!!!

Twilight tickets are 4pm or 4 hours before closing, whichever comes first. The parties are the 29th and 31st.

Thanks. Any idea when the park will close? I don't really understand the "whichever is earlier" part of this twilight ticket. If it closes at 11pm does that mean I can't get in until 7pm? Or 4pm?

You get a minimum of 4 hours. If 4pm is earlier than 4 hours before the park closes, you can get in at 4pm. If the park closes less than 4 hours after 4pm, you can get in 4 hours before the park closes that day. Park hours will be available about 6 weeks in advance, I have no clue what park hours will be that day.
