So excited about finalizing plans

I just finalized almost everything for my custom VR in December!!!

Spoke to my Floral Event Manager for 2 hours and 1 hour to Wedding Coordinator! They have been so helpful and if anyone else has Michelle Wenzler-Dorr (wedding) or Laura Kidd (floral), they are in great hands. I met with both in July and had a wonderful time. I would recommend a visit to WDW for any Custom Bride. It was very helpful seeing everything in person i.e. venues, table and chair options, floral arrangements, pictures, etc.

I've made many changes they both have been patient and have gone over everything in detail. I'm just waiting for final estimates. I'm soooooo excited I just had to share!!!!

I'll send to you mine so you what it looks like. All of our people are staying at Boardwalk because we have a small group, however, I know yours is larger and you will probably have some at each resort.

Can I please be nosey and ask how many people and your cost. The reason I ask is the more I tell people the more they are like I know you are going to invite me right?

jonetteA - I feel your pain with the room blocks. we just finished ours and i was happy it was done. We are having 100 people at our wedding July 15th, 2006 and trying to guess at where people were going to stay was hard. We made some calls and asked around to see what people were interested in. Disney advised us to place more at the value resorts and then use less nights as you got higher. So less nights at the deluxe. Of course this depends on your guests and their preference. We ended up having more at the top because we have so many guests who love the GF. WE spread the days out over 5 days with our wedding date being the center date. Hope this helps. Lisa, finalizing the plans is such a relief! Now you can just sit back and dream about how wonderfully it will all come off (and believe me, it will). Laura Kidd used to be an Event Manager, and she was mine. She was wonderful in that position, so I’m sure she’s great in floral too. She’s great with both managing details and coming up with ideas, so you’re 100% right that you’re in good hands. I am looking forward to hearing all about your VR. We want to have a custom VR in several years (we’re hoping to do it in about 8 years for our 10th anniversary).

Congrats on getting it all finalized. I'm just starting to plan our vr for next september and feel like everything is up in the air right now. You must be breathing a sigh of relief. Now sit back, relax and keep dreaming of that day soon to come.
