Just a hook to get you to look at this:

Does anyone know how many people each server is assigned to take care of and how many rooms are assigned to each steward?

Here is the break down for each dinning room
Dinner Seatings: 2
Seats 475 guests
20 Serving Stations with a Server and Assistant server
2 Head servers per dinning room (there MAY be 4 – in the past on the ship I’ve heard 2, on these board have heard that there are 4)

I'm sorry but I don't have the number of rooms each steward has but I think that it is about 10.

Got me to look, however I have no idea of the answer!

In speaking with our server and cabin host during our last cruise, we were told that each server/assistant server averages about 18 guests per dinner seating, and that the cabin host/hostess averages 12 cabins per sailing. Remember, these are the averages we were told by those who do the work.

Each serving team handles 18-20 people at each dinner seating....on rare occasions it may be as many as 24, and if the ship is unfull for some reason, someone may have as few as 16...but these are not the usual. Also, a server may have been assigned a full load but a table of guests asked to be moved to another rotation or dinner time, leaving one serving team a little light.....

Room stewards handle about 10-12 cabins.
