I LOVE all things Jim Henson! If Disney owns all of it I want to see some Fraggle and Doozer stuff! Labrynth anything!!!!!!! What about walk around Mystics and Skesis from the Dark Crystal? And all the merchandise, I'd be buying it up!

I wish Disney would sell edible Dozer sticks. Weren't they made from raddish or something?

Yeah! Radish sticks! The Doozers made buildings out of radish sticks then the fraggles would come along and eat/destroy their buildings with no regard for the poor little Doozers.

In the deal Disney got the Muppet characters, Muppet Babies and everything associated with "Bear in the Big Blue House." But that's about it.

No Sesame Street...no Dark Crystal...no Labyrinth...no Fraggle Rock, etc.

A fraggle attraction would be fab. I always thought the dozers were cooler than the fraggles anyway. Imagine a ride where you ride a dozer buggy along a dozer contruction site whilst being chased jurasic park style by a fraggle trying to eat everything!

At one time, there was going to be a "Great Muppet Movie Ride" attraction...I was so excited. Then Jim died and alot of the things that were in talks seemed to break off. :sad2:

I never thought Disneyworld could get any better in my mind and heart...

But I see now that thought was incorrect...because IF the Fraggles were ever to be in Disneyworld in any way, Disneyworld would be even better and more special then it already is :) :)

A Fraggle Rock ride, Fraggle Rock characters, and Doozer Radish Sticks... Disneyworld would just be BEYOND mind numbingly awesome to me :)

I'm picturing a dark ride, where you go around Fraggle Rock, some parts are slow (to observe the characters) other parts are fast (going past the Gorgs and past Sprocket the Dog) and then it ends with a drop into the big watering hole/pool that everyone swims in...with the Fraggle music playing all the way :) :bounce: :bounce:

Sesame Street's stuff is property of CTW, and I think that the Frouds still have some hold on the Dark Crystal and Labyrinth and those creations. The Fraggle Rock thing, however, surprises me. I think they were just straight-out Muppets belonging to Henson.

I belive you're right about the Frouds. I know Brian still holds right to Labrynth and Dark Crystal art.

They do sell Fraggle stuff at MGM and DTD. A fraggle ride would be awesome!!!

You must have missed the episode where the fraggles started thinking about that, felt guilty, and decided to stop eating the buildings. It turned out that the doozers wanted the fraggles to eat the buildings, because otherwise they would run out of space and they'd have to stop building. And since doozers love building, that would be a really bad thing. So in the end, the fraggles realized that it was good to eat the buildings.

Yes, I was a huge fraggle rock fan.

::MickeyMo Last September, I bought Hubby a Fraggle Rock Doozer figure. They had 3 different styles. I think they had some other merchandise as well. HTH :wave2: Rebecca
