So does anyone like WCC?

We have eaten there several times for breakfast and lunch and have never been disappointed with our meals. I always read reviews on the different restaurants, but the reviews, good or bad, never changes my mind if I really want to try it. We are all different and I like to find out what I think.

I love Whispering Canyon Cafe. It is a must-do each trip. The food tastes perfectly fine to me. I think it's just "in" right now to dislike this restaraunt. It changes from time to time.

Thank you all for your replies! I am going to stick with WCC. We are staying at WL anyway so it's a good time to try it. Plus I am hoping that my son will get a kick out of it :goodvibes

Especially if you are staying there it is worth a shot. We love it, we just lost our reservation for an upcoming trip (had to move the dates) and now I'm trying to fit WCC back in.

WCC is one of my favorite places on property. I love ribs and barbecue so the skillet is great for me.

But I also loved Coral Reef and the food at CRT, so what do I know...

WE are going back at the request of the kids who loved it we enjoyed it too .food was great and the kids had a blast they still talk about the ketchup and the fun they had

We have eaten there 2x. Its such a gorgeous resort, so that starts the fun. Then inside the restaurant it's cute and funny to hear the hijinks on others. We're 2 adults so we didnt get any either time. We've gotten the skillet each time. First visit the whole thing was awesome! The desserts are so amazing.
The second time the ribs were too fatty to eat, but with everything else I had plenty and didnt request different ones. Ribs are my favorite, but i though i'd complain only after i finished eating the other stuff, which by then i was too stuffed anyway. It's all good. Awesome dessert again, and their milkshakes were great too! I ate there for my bday and the waiter sang me happy bday.

I've been there twice for lunch and loved it both times! The trout on salad greens is wonderful!

We went there in February for my DD's birthday. It was a really good time. The antics are hilarious and our waitress, Blondie, was great. The food was pretty good, but it was the last day of our trip on the DDP, so it was a bit heavy for me at that point (most everything would have been!). Still, we all enjoyed it. DH loved the bottomless milkshakes! I think he had 6 (he had to try all the flavors). It was a good time. I'm sure that we'll go again.

You dont know until YOU try it. We all tend to complain more over bad experiences and say less about the good. Our meal there was less than stellar, the extra long wait after check-in didnt help. But we tried it and its the only place we will not try again.

Ditto to above!!! However, I agree you should give it a try, especially since you will be staying at the resort anyway- it would be worse if you had to travel buses etc to get there and didn't like it. Other people love this place- you could be pleasantly surprised.

Is it just as much fun for lunch? That's when we decided to go. I am hoping my kids will get to experience all the same antics they would had at dinner.

I love the food at Coral Reef and CRT as well, but WCC not so much. Not terrible, but I just don't think I want to eat there again. And I LOVE the WL, and stay there often. I guess it's a good thing I love Artist Point and that CR is a quick boat ride away.
