I was thinking about renting one and I called Disney to reserve one, but the CM said that they have a pretty efficient internal bus system &that he's stayed there in the winter and didnt really see the need for the extra spending. He still gave me the # but I havent called because now I'm rethinking. Any thoughts....

no but it was really fun, and when you rent from Kenny half the price

No, you don't need a golf cart. But they are really fun to go looping in, especially around the holidays.

1) Yep.
2) There are so many sites that are decorated.
3) And cleverly decorated.
4) Walking all the roads would be a sore chore.

Yes, you need a golf cart.

Unless you can't afford one.

In which case you'll get along fine with the buses.

no golf cart bring your bikes riding is better for you and you can see just as much if not more!!! a golf cart no matter how cheap or half price they may be still costs $ which can be spent on other things and doings, We are there for almost two months in the winter and have never even considered a cart just make sure all of the bikes have proper lighting and reflectors. Take the $ that you would have spent on a cart and go to the hoop-de-doo or to a nice dinner or lunch. Rent a cart only if theres a person in your party that is not abel to ride a bike or upwardly mobil, Good luck no matter what way you go K.:goodvibes

We've never used one. In the morning we get up and go to the park on a bus or by boat. We usually do parks every day so we've never needed one.

Well, that's the problem... you're doing it wrong. The Fort is too good a place to just hit the parks everyday. You NEED to spend at least a couple of days just doing the Fort, just like you NEED a cart to do it right.

For our last trip we just rented a cart on the days that we were going to Magic Kingdom. We were able to drive it down to the boat launch and it was waiting when we got back just after lunch. We went to the pool on those days, then back to Magic Kingdom in the evening. It was waiting for us when we got back late at night and it was nice not having to deal with the buses on those days.

We're at the Fort right now and rented a cart from Kenny. We spend a lot of time at the parks so we find that we haven't used it as much as we thought we would. Next time I think we'll go back to renting from Disney for just a few days again.

We don't use a golf cart,,we use a buggy.
It's blue, with a coupl'a Mickey stickers,,,and our fur baby thinks it belongs to her.
Okay,,we did buy it for her,,but we enjoy it too.
