So, do Christmas decorations go up tonight at WDW?

I've always wanted to go when the decorations are up. I'm out of work for a while (medical reasons) and it's silly to plan a trip for next year, but it cheers me up. I miss WDW. If we plan a year out, maybe it can be done. My brother in laws family are big into WDW, too. I don't know. Just thinking out loud. But I really want to see the parks decorated for Christmas.

They were decorated for Christmas within a few days of Halloween being over. ;)

Yea, as stated above, when the last MNSSHP was over, they transformed over night, pulling out the pumpkins, and putting up the holly.

So WDW is fully decorated!

Warning: If you are anything like me, after a trip during the holidays, nothing else will ever be as good. It is BEAUTIFUL. Do everything in your power to see WDW at least once while decorated for Christmas, there really is nothing else like it.

Oh wow, I had no clue they did it that early. That's good, though. Gives more opportunity for people to see the decorations. :)

We went the week of 11/12-11/20 and the Osborne Lights were up and MK was decorated. While we were there, the resort decorations went up. This was our 2nd year around this time and it really is beautiful!

I wanna go so bad! We have gone twice during DD15's b-day because she was born April 18 and that's spring break. DD16's b-day is Dec 6 and we have never been able to go because my DH is in retail management and cannot take vacations during the holidays. I would love to be at WDW for DD16's 18th b-day next year. That would be pretty special. Plus the rates are lower and the weather is good. I don't know if I can make it happen, but a girl can dream. Sigh....

THIS!

I went for the first time in 2003. Now my Christmas is not complete without a trip to WDW at this time of year! :santa:

There isn't a huge tree at the front of the park, but I heard that doesn't go up until after the Christmas parade taping. Other than that I didn't notice any downsizing of decorations.

They have definitely reduced the Christmas cheer at Epcot. The Lights of Winter were magnificent. So sad that the retired them. :sad2:

I'll just follow you to Pop! That's my fave resort...it feels like home.:wizard:

Me too! I stayed there opening night in 2003. I will be leaving WDW on Pop's 7th Anniversary this December 14. I still have the commemorative coin and pin they gave out on opening day.
