My dh and I decided in December to surprise our oldest dd with tickets to a dinner theater for her 7th birthday. We were going to see "The Wizard of Oz" in the end of March. We bought the tickets, marked the calendar, found a sitter for our younger dd. I have to give 3 months notice at work to take a vacation day do I put in for my day off. We were all set.
Well, we get a call today that they have canceled all shows of "The Wizard of Oz."
Now we have no gift for our dd. They don't have any other shows scheduled that she would like. The theater said we can choose another show but if we can't find another one they can refund us our money. Which is great but we have been looking forward to surprising our dd with this for months and now we have nothing to surprise her with.
