Just arrived at TSMM and found out that they discontinued single rider! I don't know what rock I was hiding under but this is news to me, now i'm stuck in a 40 min line. Bummer

A 40 minute line?? Really?? On a Monday?

That's kinda weird. I went on it 3 times on Saturday, and only 1 of those times did it show a 40 minute wait (but it wasn't that long).

Maybe the word is getting out about the new game? :confused3

Really?!?!? I know single rider wasn't always open but that's so disappointing that it's now completely gone. :(

I was at DLR from May 1st-8th and I never got to ride TSMM. It was a 40 minute line or more continuously and I refuse to wait in that. It's a good ride, but not that good, especially when you're a single rider.

Wow, a 40 minute line for TSMM sounds good to me! The last two times we have gone (last August and spring break), the lines have been atrocious. A 40 minute line would have been nice.

Sigh. Wish I could go off-peak! Still, TSMM is worth at least 40 minutes!

My family are hard core single riders, but this is one we would never do again if we had a chance....not quick at all compared to most attractions.

I probably would have just skipped it entirely on this trip I just completed if not for catching it a couple of times on a 15-minute wait on Saturday morning. Of course, even at 45-minute waits it's still probably quicker than trying to ride the one at DHS.

So my plan for tomorrow is to hit both rope drops--DL first for FPs and Peter Pan then head to DCA for TSMM. Luckily Soarin' still offers single rider so I can skip the obligatory early am ride and head straight to Paradise Pier

Yep, I've never seen that one at less than an hour wait. Typically its at 120 minutes, with Fastpasses sold out by 11am!

Just out of curiosity, what did people do before single-rider line and FP? :rolleyes1

I talked to a CM who said they had too much "hassle" with the single rider so they dumped it. Apparently ppl tried to minimize their wait time by taking their whole family in the line and promising the CM that they would split, then the kids cried when it came time to split the group. So basically ppl with entitlement issues manipulated the system and Disney reacted and solo ppl are the ones paying the price.

I think Single rider could work here if Disney instituted an age restriction of over 12 only and no families.

that is a VERY good idea anonymousegirl!! I wish TSMM had a single rider, i have like rode it twice since it opened, it's just soo dang busy!! everytime i go it's WAY over 40 min.
