So Depressed.....

Hey everyone!

I'm just feeling so bummed out right now because we can't go back to WDW until at least next October (2009). We went in March and wanted to go back this October really badly but I've gone and got myself in debt (mostly from going to WDW on credit cards! ) and now we can't go again until I'm debt free.

I just needed to vent and hope that someone can share in my misery!

Look on the bright side you have yuntil october 2009 to save money and plan for your trip, therefore you can take the time to plan a special trip. Maybe save enough to stay at a Deluxe resort or so some things that cost extra that you normally wouldn't do. If you consume yourself witht hat it will be october 2009 before you know it.

That's true! I never thought of staying at a deluxe...and I do want to stay at AKL pretty badly! Thanks for the idea!

don't feel bad...it takes alot to feed our disney habit. just remember to come to the DIS for your disney fix until you can get there in person!

I know that feeling! But, remember, the planning is half the fun, so enjoy the time to do that! I find that reading the boards, searching through sites like this one and allears.net, really helps me pass the time until the next trip. Once I start reading through menus, reviews, etc. it's easy to imagine myself there! The only thing I don't look forward to is that feeling of sadness once the vacation ends, as we head to the airport on our way home. But...before long I'm planning the next trip and the cycle starts all over again!

We went in March as well.

We have gone NOWHERE this summer. I am going stir crazy.
I took 6 hours of courses this summer, finished July 3. DW also took 6 hours, but doesnt finish until July 25. We go back for inservice MONDAY. So the whole summer is gone with no trip anywhere.

I cant wait until October. Im not counting on talking DW into Disney again so soon, but I HAVE to go SOMEWHERE.

Thanks for letting ME vent on your thread. I feel for you.

As much as I love DLR and WDW, I love being debt free more. I agree with your plan to rid yourself of debt before your next trip to the world. I couldn't enjoy a vacation trip knowing I was going into the hole. Also, anticipation is half of the enjoyment for me. So, hang in there. October '09 is not that far off.

I started planning my Aug 08 trip 1 1/2 yrs ago. I admit, the time did not go fast, but I needed it to pay for the trip without debt. I also took a parttime job so I could do some extras, MNSSHP, segway tour, 5 day cruise, some sit down dinners, and best of all, staying at WL!!

So when your time comes, you will be so happy not to worry about the money!!

Ditto! Nothing beats being debt free - and how could you enjoy WDW knowing you haven't paid for it before you left there?? Oct '09 will be here soon - don't spend more than you have!

Disney is a drug, huh?!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Exercise and get those seratonin levels up and October will come again, right on time hopefully you will have a full coffer by then.
