First you need to review the
points charts for the times you're considering staying and determine how many points you need for your stay. The charts show a points per night (or points per week) for each resort, each type of room, for particular dates. Then, once you know how many points you need and the dates you want, you can determine about what it should cost (say use $10-12/point as an estimate).
You can then post what you want on the rent/trade board -- looking to rent XXX of points for (dates) at (resort).
But you'll have to decide when you want to go. Owners at AKV can book those rooms 11 months in advance, owners at other resorts can book 7 months in advance, all subject to availability. So for next April -- AKV owners could have booked those rooms starting May 2008. Even non-owners could start booking for next April in September 2008. If it's a busy period, there may be no rooms left already. August 2009 may give you a better chance, but even those rooms started to be booked by AKV owners in September.
