It’s been so long and things are so different now with world of color and Fantasmic dining packages.
We are going March 22-March 24
For world of color I got the desert package (it was like $89 a person) but where do we sit and see the show? It says we have a table and chairs but no idea where in relation to where the show is.
I tried blue bayou and River belle for Fantasmic but no luck.
The only other thing I saw was hungry bear to go with a reserved seating area????? (It was like $35 and person).
Where does that sit at?????
Is there any other Fantasmic dining options that are better?
Is there a world of color option that is better?
My son is autistic and has a DAS (No wheelchair or anything) is there better seating just using a disability seating area?

And I know this may be a dumb question but is there dining or reserved seating for fireworks??????

Thanks! Looks like I got a really good spot!

Anyone know anything about Fantasmic?
Fireworks?

The Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace is the only thing I know of for fireworks. But apparently you can’t see projections from that location. And you pay even if they cancel fireworks.

HB seating area is just to the left of the BB seating area for Fantasmic (as you view the show).

Sorry, first time visitor/planner to DL…

Can you explain what HB is and what the seating area is?

Thanks!

HB is Hungry Bear restaurant - they offer a to-go meal as part of a F! dining package. Seating is left of center.

Fantasmic! at DL is different from WDW - seating is on the ground instead of in an amphitheater like at WDW. Seating is only with F! dining packages (except for maybe some VIP and disability seating?). Without a dining package, viewing is standing only.

The DL regulars will correct me if I am wrong though! :goodvibes

Thanks StichandPoohsmom!
I’m looking forward to learning all the DL abbreviations.
It will probably be easier once we’ve been there and experienced it for the first time.

At DL, Fantasmic is held on the Rivers of America, in front of New Orleans Square. The walkway along the water is divided into three sections. The section to the left (as you’re facing the water) is for packages from the Hungry Bear restaurant. The center section is for Blue Bayou packages. And the right is for River Belle packages. All of these areas have people sit on the ground for the show. There also are a limited number of River Belle premium packages where you sit at the tables on the River Belle terrace, eat, and watch the show from there.

I ordered some January 2023 park maps on eBay yesterday so hopefully can get a better grasp on all of this in the next few days. Maps on a phone just don’t work so well for these old eyes 😂.

Thanks you all for sharing your valuable insights and knowledge.

For future information, people here will often send you some 👀. They are sent for free as a way to spread pixie dust by several members.

I didn’t even think to ask here- that’s some really nice pixie dust.

You can Google search Fantasmic (F!) viewing area and a bunch of images will show up. Look for more recent posts as the areas have changed over time. Same thing for World of Color (WoC)

Oh, I would be so thrilled if there was someone that would like to sprinkle a little pixie dust my way. A map would be amazing. Heading to Disneyland Feb.27 - Mar.4th - staying on site - first time for grandbabies and it has been many years since the rest of the family have been! Looking so forward to seeing Disney through the littles eyes! Getting pretty excited - but when I read about the genie+ and the virtual lineups and Lighting Lanes etc. - it makes me a wee bit stressed.....

I’m confused by where to the left I will be sitting with the hungry bear to go package. Will I be sitting? Between my knee problems and my sons autism at the end of the day.

Our experience last year with the Hungry Bear package is that we sat on the walkway along the Rivers of America, approximately in front of the French Market towards the Haunted Mansion. They let people stand while waiting for the show, but they required everyone to sit for the show. There were five or six rows of people in the viewing section.
