My fiance and I just decided to get married in Disney, our date is open and We are so exited. I am just so confused about what to ask. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Toni!

Congratulations on your upcoming Disney wedding! The first thing you should do is explain your "dream" wedding to your Disney sales manager. Tell him or her what style wedding you're hoping for... intimate, low-key, elegant, lively, fun, unusual, outdoor ceremony, Epcot reception site, ballroom reception, you want the characters, you don't want the characters, you can't live without Cinderella's Coach, etc. Explain what type of theme you may be interested in and then your Sales Manager can suggest certain locations. He or she can also send you some sample budgets.

Once you see some of the options, it will be easier to create your personal wedding day plan. Good luck!

What I totally suggest and highly recommend you buying the book that Andea has published called The Unofficial Disney Wedding Guide. You may find it at www.yourfairytale.com. This book helped me sooooo much with my wedding that was previously held last May. This book also includes some great coupons as well to all sorts of vendors. It will also give you tons of ideas as well as a ton of infomation. It will truely be the best $ you spend to make planning your Disney wedding less stressful.

I have to agreewith Ellie that the book is worth it's money. I wouldn't have known where to start without it. As it's such a minefield :0

hey cs2sgrl! welcome and congratulations!

I second to everything everyone else has said, get Andrea's book, it is a very valuable asset. And do tell your SM everything you want in a wedding, they are a HUGE help.

My advice, if you haven't already done it, start a file of ideas for things you like, everything you like! I had already started a file when I was much younger, ya know the bride we all want to be someday! and when I met my fiance and we started to plan, we continued to grab pics from the web, out of magazines, got paint samples for the colors we wanted, jotted down ideas from other wedding we attended, and so on. We organized it all into folders and when we went down to do our first planning session they could not believe how organized we were. BUT, they said they wished everyone came that prepared!

It really helps to be that organized, especially when it is not local and you can't just run over. Good luck!
