So can you now book an Escape at 12 months?

Or is it still 8?

I thought Disney changed to a 16/12 month booking rule instead of the previous 12/8 rule, but my coordinator's assistant is telling us it's still 8 months. Does anyone know for sure?

Escape is still 8 months. Only Wishes got bumped up to 16 months/12 months.

Okay, thanks. :goodvibes

But I guess I'm still fuzzy on the two different time periods. If you can book at 18 months, what's the 12 months about? Convention spaces? And then Escape brides get the leftovers at 8 months? And do they only get the leftover ceremony times, too?

16 months only applies to theme park venues, Ariel's and Atlantic Dance Hall. If your reception is anywhere else, you have to wait til 12 months to book (as a Wishes event).

Because Wishes couples can book at 12 months, theoretically Escape couples are getting the "leftovers" but there are so many venues and times of day and dates that it is not often a problem. Remember, two of the Escape venues—Sunset Pointe and Sunrise Terrace—only hold 10 people, so it is highly unlikely a Wishes event would book there. :thumbsup2

SORRY! You guys are right—it's 16 months! I wasn't paying attention when I replied.

I'm sorry if this scared anyone! :flower3:

is there a "pencil in" date too or are they not doing that anymore?
