So Cal Salute Tickets

We were planning on purchasing our tickets, using the Southern California Resident Salute pricing of 2 parks for 1. We don't usually like to carry our ID's into the parks with us, in case something were to happen to our bags. We were going to order the tickets online, but does anyone know if they are actually checking ID's at the gate?

You can't order So. Cal. salute tickets online. They are only available at the ticket boths in front of the parks and they do check for I.D. when you purchase them.

Actually, I ordered the So Cal Discount tickets online on the disney web site and had no problem with it. We are planning to go in March! YEAH!

Enjoy two Parks on two days for the price of one! Right now, Southern California residents can experience two Parks for the price of a single ticket. Visit Disneyland® park on one day and Disney’s California Adventure™ park on a different day.

Guests purchasing this ticket must reside within zip codes 90000-93599 or Baja California Residents 21000-22999. Proof of residency is required for admission. Tickets expire 30 days after first use or April 30, 2004 whichever comes first. Offer available for purchase through April 29, 2004. Click More Info for complete details.

To get to that information, I had to put in my parents' zip code (they live in SoCal). It's also not a park hopper, just one day at each park.

Wow, I'm surprised. A year ago they wouldn't let me buy it at the Disney store. I was told they were only available at the park and they did ask for I.D. at the ticket booth. As long as they are actual tickets and don't need to be exchanged at the ticket booth, you might be able to walk in with no problems.
