To me it seems clear that SoCal tix are offered to SoCal residents and their guests. It is not a "I know someone in SoCal who can buy them for me" type thing. Why would Disney do that? They are obviously trying to get more locals to come.
The proof of the pudding is what would happen if they asked at the gate to see ID. Although I have never done it, if I was with my sister or folks who are still SoCal residents then I would feel safe using SoCal tix.![]()
yeah, that's what i was thinking, which is why i hadn't planned on buying them that way. i just thought i'd clarify if it seemed reasonable to everyone else (and i just didn't realize it before), then it might be something i could consider.
i found great prices on tix at costco.com anyway, so those are the ones i'm going to use. i have to buy 10 passes, and buying them from costco gives us an extra day, and STILL saves me $130! woohooo!
