So Cal resident offer good from 1/9/17 - 5/25/17 (purchase by 5/22/17). 3 day tickets ages 3+: $149 for 1 park per day and $189 for 3 day park hoppers. Includes one Magic Morning Early Access. Blockout dates 4/9 through 4/23.

Expiration is confusing. I cannot find out if they are good for the whole time or expire in 13 days. I send an email to get clarification. I'll post when I know more..

The last few years they did not have the 13 day fuse. I assume one of the Disney blogs or sites will ask their contact and get clarification on that soon.

Yay! My mom and I are going in Feb and she needed a 3 day ticket! This much better than $295!

Does anyone know if there's any possible way to add a fourth or fifth day to this offer? Possibly in the same way you can add additional days to regular tickets as long as it's on the last day of use or before?

I was looking at this offer this morning, too. Do the 3 days of use have to be consecutive? That's the one detail I could not find.

Probably not.

Typically the Spring Southern Cal. Resident deals are usually limited to their conditions. That's they are they good for the entire promotional period.

No, they don't. These tickets are designed to get local day trippers out to the parks multiple times during what is traditionally the "slow season." For years the Spring So Cal. deal was buy one day, get one free non-hoppers, the third day and PH option are a big step up in deals.

No, you have the entire offer period to use them, just not during the blockout period.

Disney's goal is to make absolutely sure there are no "slow" days at the parks, ever again.

That's just "business sense" to them.

But they've had a So Cal ticket offer almost every Spring as long as I can remember. They may have skipped it during the 60th. And they are pretty liberal about the "So. Cal." part. As long as they are bought locally, they don't care who uses them, they often sell them in supermarkets.

I read in the fine print that they will be checking IDs when you enter the parks to be sure you are from SoCal.

You're not wrong...that is in the fine print. But I am a Canadian resident with a CC under my Aunt's address in CA. I purchased the SoCal discounted tickets (3 day hoppers) on our trip to visit her last Feb. My Aunt actually called Disney and they told her people are only ID-ed if they purchase the tickets at the Disney on-site ticket windows.

The SoCal ticket purchase will only go through if your CC is registered to a local zip code. If the tickets are purchased online, they wouldn't ID us at the gate. I'm pretty sure the CM said this was a "loop hole".

We took the CM's advice. I purchased the tickets and had the bar codes sent to my phone. We walked straight to the gate and I showed the CM the bar code...she took our photos, gave us the paper passes, and we breezed right in. No ID's were checked, just as the CM on the phone had said.

I think the loophole has been fixed, I know those with Military and Australian/New Zealand tickets have their ID's checked now, even if they have an "e-Ticket". Disney has learned its lesson, nad asking for an ID from an adult is quick and easy.

That is good to know. I want a 5 day pass, so I'll be using our Canadian Resident discount (not the SoCal one). But it would be interesting to hear from others who use the discount what their experience is the first time the use SoCal tickets purchased on the internet at the turnstiles.

could my brother buy these for us if he's coming with us? He lives in SoCal.

The "purchaser" has to buy the tickets and be present at admission, I believe. And he's limited to 5 tickets per day.
