So. Cal Annual Pass - Want to make sure...

Can you buy a 3 day park hopper and then upgrade at the end of the trip to a So. Cal Annual Pass (like you do a normal annual pass) and receive full credit for the price of the park hopper towards the annual pass? I just want to be sure.....

They will give you the value of the park hopper paid towards the annual pass, but until you have the pass your missing any discounts you might be entitled to as well.

ETA, unless you have a relative or something in the So Cal area, your not going to be able to get a So Cal pass as well, you have to live there for it.

As long as the AP costs more than the park-hopper you are upgrading.

Usually it is a DL that shows a zip code in their designated range.

When we upgraded we had to show our ID's. First thing she said was "too bad you don't live in the So Cal AP area" so they do check your ID. If it says Tracy they won't sell you a So Cal AP. Just an FYI.
