So Bummed...

Well like so many others I was looking forward to our December DVC vacation, but we had to cancel it this morning. I'm so bummed about it. I know it's the right thing to do though. My MIL and 17yr old BIL are coming along and she just doesn't have the money for their airfare or park tickets right now. Plus, I'm getting concerned about my oldest daughter missing a whole week of school. I"ve been hanging onto that 2 bedroom value villa at Jambo since the 11 month window opened. I hope I made someone's waitlist come true!

So instead...now it's not just my parents and our daughters' best friend joining us next June...my MIL and BIL will be with us in June too! I called MS this morning and booked 3 studios at Kidani (2 standard and savannah for me!). Then we'll move over to SSR into a studio and a dedicated two bedroom. So there's light at the end of the tunnel! June will be here in no time!

Wow...I'm sure you did the right thing, and I do hope June comes quickly for you! Our trip time line for the family cruise began at 18 months, and it's 1/2 that now, and will be here before we know it.

I know how you feel! We have a week booked at the BC at the end of January, but I had a job interview last week and I'm afraid if I get it I might have to cancel. For us that would also mean a good chance of loosing those points since we have a Feb use year! Ugh, why does life have to get in the way of a Disney vacation!
