So Bummed....

Well not really since it is such a little thing. But I cant help it. I saw the AAA disney month advertisement for the free clock. When we decided we were definitely going to go to disney we went ahead and booked right then so that I wouldnt forget (yeah right forget disney?) to do it before the end of the month. Well, I got my package stuff and no voucher for the clock. I emaild my AAA TA (not the first time I had mentioned it to her) and she said it was something I get when I get there. Didnt say anything about a voucher. So okay. Well I really thought there was supposed to be a voucher so I went and looked up the info on the AAA website and guess what it is only for travel after April something. UGH. I really am disappointed. Had I known in advance would it have changed things? Probably not....although I might would have put off booking a while longer to get the one more month before having to pay for the trip. But in the scheme of things....still (as i stick out my bottom lip petulantly) I want my clock. LOL

We're planning a trip and I've asked for quotes from AAA here in town and from a travel agent that I heard about here on the DIS. No one has gotten back with me, so I guess I won't be getting the January booking "specials".

Oh well...not too big a deal, but still disappointing.

You know last year when we were booking we first tried AAA- she took all my info- spent about 15 minutes with me on the phone. Said she would call me back with the details- never did.

I am going through the same thing! I booked for 2/25-3/6. I rushed to get into AAA on 1/31 just for the clock. I would have been in there anyway but I could have waited another day rather than rearrange my entire day just to get in there that day. But I was told I had to pick it up at the park. I believed her until I read your thread that it has to be after April. OH well I'm still excited!

I called my AAA yesterday and another that is very close to me they said that they had no tickets, had never heard of the parking pass and told me to buy my tickets in FL at its AAA office on the way down?? Any suggestions?
