I don't know what I was thinking but I booked our upcoming trip for Nov 1- Nov. 6th thinking that the Halloween theming would still be up. One of the people in our party has never seen it. I just learned that it ends on the 1st which is the night we arrive. So is there no theming between the 1st and the 13th, when they start the Xmas stuff?

Checkout the Halloween Time thread or Christmas Thread here on the DL board that Sherry moderates, they'll probably be able to give you the best idea of what to expect during the transition time.

While Halloween decor will be coming down fast, Christmas decor will be going up very quickly. Taping for the Christmas parade starts Nov 6th.

Sounds like it will be a mixture of halloween and Christmas/ kind of like Nightmare before Christmas. Should be interesting.

We'll be thee at the same exact time and that was full knowing the Halloween schedule.
There will be Halloween decorations on the first days and you'll find that they disappear a little every night. Make sure you take in Jungle Cruise because it will be closed the rest of the week.
Otherwise it's a fantastic time to visit the parks. It will be very quiet with short wait times and a relaxed atmosphere.

So our main interest is the Haunted Mansion at this time of year is usually still in Halloween mode isn't it. Seems to me that when we were there at Thanksgiving and they still had it transformed. Yes?

The haunted mansion holiday goes through New Years, so that will stay up.

When I went on Nov. 1 last year, the fall buntings and big pumpkin were still up at Disneyland, but the snow was on the castle roof, and DCA was partially decorated for Christmas. It's an interesting crossover. :)
