The money is going to charity. Why not do it if you love Miley and have the extra cash. You are having a great time and helping others in need. Looks like a win win. Oh and tickets to see Madonna, Paul McCartney, etc . . . are more than $250.

That's what I was thinking. It's actually not that bad if you're a really huge fan. I'd pay that much for a special event concert of a person/band I really wanted to see.

A few years ago DH and I saw Elton John in Las Vegas, it is disgraceful but we paid over $375 CDN for 2 tickets, and the were in the highest row (I could have touched the roof). DH doesn't even like Elton John - LOL!! Now just a note, the tickets were only about $140 US each, but the conversion to CDN at that time was crazy!!

DD3 has just started liking Hannah Montana (I do not think she gets the Miley/Hannah thing yet) and the other day she asked if she could go to the next Hannah Montana concert SHE IS 3!!! Oy..I may have my hands full at 13 if she is already asking to go to concerts (I did not know what a concert was at 3).

I would love to hear if anyone is going. It is a crazy amount, but I can't say I would NEVER do it, I just don't know. If we were going to be there and we had an opportunity....Yikes, I would like to say I would not consider it, but .....

for a great rock band like the Eagles, i might spend $250 a ticket for and i know i will get my money's worth. no offense miley or Disney, $250 a ticket only means the rich can see it. and i dont really think that $250 to play for a day a DL is worth it. but this is just MY opinion.

Miley is celebrating her 16th birthday in Disneyland on October 5th. They are selling tickets to her party. Tickets go on sale August 30th. There is more information on the disney.go website.

IDK, i dont think $250 is all that bad, lets consider where it is shes having the party. its not just some concert hall, its disneyland. and like others mentioned the money goes to charity.
8 years ago i paid $450 a seat to see the stones. completely worth it!! we had great seats!! and that was just in a stadium.

I'm trying to get tickets. We'll be 1/2 way around the world and we have always promised DD if we had the chance, we would go see her. DH will be coming too. DD would love to be there, we have spoken about it, but I have also told her there are no guarantees that we will get tickets.

If I had the money I would totally take DD. She loves Hannah. and As a kid with Autism one of her hyper obessesions is Disneyland. The kids knows more about it than I do, and already has our next trip planned by the minute (she doesnt know we are going for her birthday! ) But my mom lives 30 minutes from DL so we would be paying the same price for a hotel if we were to go anyway.

So if I came up with the funds, I would get tickets if I could and spend the time with my mom too. Win win win all around for our family. Others might think differently and that is ok too.
