So... another epic question...

Mustard.

Is aioli considered mayonnaise?

The line has blurred quite a bit. And you'll find many a restaurant calling Mayo Aioli because marketing told them it sounds more upscale.
They are very similar. But old school Aioli has garlic paste in it and uses olive oil. Mayo doesn't have garlic paste in it and uses a neutral oil.

Ketchup only on hamburgers or french fries. Absolutely NEVER on a hot dog. :scared1:

Mayo can go on anything, including burgers, fries, and hot dogs.

I buy Duke's mayo now since hearing others rave about it on the DIS.

I don't Like Ketchup. and I don't like bbq sauces for the same flavors/reason

Heinz ketchup of course, on hotdogs (dill pickles and cheese also a necessity.)

No mayo, Miracle Whip on sandwiches.

Both Heinz ketchup and Miracle whip on hamburgers.

Keep the ketchup far away from my fries. Doesn't go good with the malt vinegar.

I've seen "olive oil mayo" before. The oil itself might be neutral (aka "extra light") olive oil rather than first or second press with that olive flavor, but I've heard they might be trying to tout the health benefits of olive oil.

Rarely put them on the same thing so they really aren't comparable. But I will say only Heinz ketchup and only Duke's mayo. No substitues. Period.
